Not so "Birthday" kinda day, today

Hello there. 8th of May, and here I am back on writing for this year 2018. Not sure whether this will be the one and only post for 2018, but I will try to write if I have any idea or thoughts to write about anything.

So yeah, 2017 is over. So does my love, my studies and my part time jobs. It's been 7 months since I'm single, because of whatever it is the reason that the other party left me, I don't give a damn anymore. Anyway, I'm still living happily, healthier (perhaps) and busier.

I graduated last year in October, had so much fun reunion with my friends. I'm glad I finally finished my Law School on time (took me four bloody years) and I had so much fun doing part time jobs while waiting for graduation and after the graduation itself.

I started my Paralegal work right after my last post in 2017 😆 which was in Mid-July 2017. I worked for one and a half month simply because the boss didn't paid me well. I was so frustrated doing the litigation works but the salary is just unreasonable. You see, I love doing litigation. I really did. I enjoy going to court, doing my case management in chambers, or in front of the Magistrate and/or Session Judge, but all those efforts, hard works and travelling (by public transport because I do not own any vehicle) should be paid reasonably-lah. Come on, the average of paying Paralegal workers will be around MYR 1.5K-2K. How can you possibly paid me only $500 for one bloody month? And that is not the fixed amount, people. My boss divided it into how many days of working in one month, and calculate it based on how many days I come to work.

Which means I got lesser than $500 because I only work 4 days per week as he don't usually come to work on Friday. So what's the point of me coming to work on Friday if no one is around? I wasted my whole day in the office and play Youtube? Na-uh.

It took me one and a half month to quit my Paralegal and find a new job which was Sales Promoter at my regular place Isetan KLCC. I can get more than MYR 1K working as a part time promoter compared to working in a legal firm as a Paralegal. Much happier because I was paid well. I change from 3 different brands being a sales promoter to look for a better salary. Eventually, I gained salary between MYR 1K-2K working as a promoter. Much satisfied.

Although working as a sales promoter means that you need to work either morning or afternoon shift, it doesn't really matter if you enjoy your work and you are paid well. I really enjoy working at KLCC. I met so many good people and having so much fun working with them. I learnt a lot about life from these people. They didn't come from highly educated background like those I met when I work in a legal areas, but these ordinary people had so much to offer in terms of life, experiences and values. I had so much fun learning from those senior than me and also younger than me. Because they do not walk the same path as me who spent most of my 25 years of life as a student and only started to work when I finished my SPM (for 3 months) and in between of my semester break during my time in UM.

So, after I quit my part time job as a promoter in January 1st, 2018, I started to do my chambering. I actually started on 26th December 2017 to learn about the basic works that I need to know from the ex-Legal Assistant, simply because I am hired to replace the Legal Assistant. LOLLL. You see, nowadays some companies can be so cheapskate. They hired Interns or Pupils (like me) to work in their company because they wanted to save budget on paying the workers. They paid this Interns cheap cheap unlike the permanent workers and asked the Interns to do works done by the permanent workers. LOLLL.

It's okay lah. As long as I finish my chambering within this year and started to build my career soon. I'm not sure what God has prepared for me, but He knows that I am not a quitter. I will always find a way to work. Regardless of whatever kind of work, as long as its a legal work, being paid reasonably and I can earn for myself and my family.

I will finish my chambering in October 11th, and so far now I'm in my fourth month of chambering. I'm doing just fine because the firm that I am working is currently kinda slow in receiving cases. I have two divorce cases pending hearing and one Letter of Administration matter. I have done my first Sale and Purchase case file in the first 3 months of my chambering, so I basically got the good exposure of S&P for Conveyancing matter. And also two matters for Small Estate. 😏😏 That's all that I can be proud of. Hahahaha. Sokay lah, so long that I am learning something.

So now back to reading cases to complete my cases research booklet. I should be focusing on studying more types of cases so that I won't be so way behind from those who had studied much in their period of chambering.

Till I have the mood to write again, soon. 😗 May God bless my 25th years of life and to a more brighter future and happy life. Amen.
